King Kong.. Too Long

The original movie shot in 1933 was 100 mins long, this new instalment is 187 mins long. The movie is absolutely brilliant and completely entertaining. Peter Jackson recreates the mysterious Skull Island with reamarkable pictures and visual effects. The scenes of savage tribals and the dinosaur chase sequences were an absolute thrill.

The essence of the story remains the same - Group travels to shoot movie in an undiscovered island, giant ape Kong makes apearance and abducts blonde actress, beauty captivates the beast, the hero rescues the blonde, giant ape is captured and taken to city, giant ape unveiled to humans as 'King Kong - Eighth Wonder of the World', beast escapes shackles, shares romantic moments with beauty and creates havoc in city, and finally succumbs to humans falling down from a skyscraper.
